Jimmy Zhang

Jimmy Zhang is the Co-founder and CEO at Path Mentors. Jimmy holds an M.S. and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University and Purdue University respectively. At Columbia, he served as the Department Representative on the Engineering Graduate Student Council and connected his technical background with emerging startup ventures through Columbia Business School. Before founding Path Mentors, Jimmy launched CityFoody, New York City’s first online ethnic grocery delivery platform, which was named one of the top startups in Columbia’s 2016 Almaworks Accelerator. With research experience in robotics, control systems, and simulation, Jimmy applies his technical background to drive innovation in education. Born in China, Jimmy came to the U.S. as a State Department sponsored high school exchange student in rural New York.
